All of my consulting will be done via email so that you have a written record of our correspondence.   Working by email assures the highest efficiency as well.    Talking on the phone can be very time consuming and it's too easy to get off-subject.   Using the email format means that my answers to your questions will be concise and on point.   I will be able to convey information in a timely manner to help keep the consultation hours down to a minimum.

I charge $59 per hour of time to compose my emails.   A 500-word email response to your questions takes me about 20 minutes of time to compose.   The amount of correspondence needed for an entire home consultation might only take ten hours.   Of course it could be as much as fifty hours too (depending on the customer), but even so, the value of the amount of detailed information I can convey in fifty hours will far exceed the $3,000 cost.   In fact, I’d be surprised if you didn’t save twice whatever you paid me for my consultation services simply by utilizing more efficient building practices and smarter hiring of subcontractors.

Consultation time is sold in blocks of 10 hours for $590, prepaid via Paypal (where you can use a credit card), or USPS Money Orders.   A running balance will be provided at the end of each email response so you can see how long it took for me to respond, and how much time you have left.   Refunds will be made for any unused time.
