Here are the photo's of the "Doyle" home, built in 2001

In just the begining stages.   The groundwork was
completed last fall so we could get an early start this year.

power line.

First day on the foundation.

Sub-slab plumbing.

The forms used to pour the concrete are not stripped off,
but rather stay in place and serve as the sill plates, edge insulation,
and outer protective cover.

At this stage, the foundation is being set up with a vapor
barrier, insulation, steel reinforcement, radiant heat tubing, and
water lines.

Forms are installed between the house and the garage to make a
thermal break and provide for a step-down to the garage.

And the framing begins.

Massive, 12" thick walls.
